Meshnect Terms of Use
Effective date: 19 October 2026
1. Agreement and service
These Terms govern your use of Meshnect, operated by Upsquare Technosys Pvt. Ltd. ("Meshnect," "we," or "us"). You agree to them when you affirmatively accept them while creating an account or claiming a profile. An imported, unclaimed record alone does not create an agreement with that person.
Meshnect provides software for separate professional networks. One Meshnect account supports your profile and sign-in across networks you are authorized to join. Each network operator controls membership and its own network rules. Network admission is not guaranteed. Read our Privacy Policy and the relevant operator notice. Privacy consent is separate from accepting these Terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and personal claim link, and promptly report suspected misuse to support@meshnect.com. Do not impersonate others, share access, or claim someone else's profile. You are responsible for your use of your account, but these Terms do not make you automatically liable for unauthorized actions outside your reasonable control.
House of Starts is invite-only, with public sign-up closed and one claim link per person. vCarrd is not a Meshnect registration route. Joining one network does not join others or grant access to their information.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Meshnect to:
- Break the law, defraud, threaten, harass, exploit, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone.
- Publish unlawful material, infringe intellectual property, or disclose another person's private information without authority.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or misleading invitations.
- Scrape or harvest member records, bypass permissions, probe another network's data, or compromise accounts or systems.
- Distribute malware, disrupt the service, or evade a suspension.
- Import records you lack lawful authority to process, including records of people under 18.
Follow lawful network rules disclosed before participation. Report suspected violations to support@meshnect.com, with the network and relevant content or record details.
4. Your content and our permission to use it
You keep ownership of content you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and lawful permissions needed to submit it and share it with the selected audience.
You grant Meshnect a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and technically adapt that content only to operate, secure, support, and provide the service according to your sharing choices. We may permit contracted providers to do the same only as needed to provide their services. This license does not authorize unrelated advertising or sale of your content.
The license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backup cycles, lawful retention, and copies others lawfully retain. Our Privacy Policy explains retention. Permission to process personal data must independently satisfy applicable privacy law; this license is not a substitute for consent or another lawful basis.
Meshnect retains its rights in the platform software and branding. These Terms grant you permission to use the service while you comply with them, not ownership of the platform.
5. Network operator responsibilities
Operators must give accurate notices, establish a lawful basis for each import and use, minimize data, maintain accurate membership records, and honor rights requests. An earlier membership does not automatically authorize a new platform import or public profile.
Operators must keep unclaimed profiles hidden, restrict administrative access, obtain required consent and sharing choices during claims, and respect network boundaries. They must maintain age eligibility checks, secure administrator accounts, respond to complaints, and promptly cooperate on security incidents and deletion requests. They must not use transactional email access for bulk broadcasts.
Where Meshnect processes data for an operator, the parties must put appropriate written processing terms in place covering instructions, confidentiality, security, providers, incidents, rights assistance, transfers, and return or deletion. These user Terms and the HoSt notice do not replace that agreement or any required joint-controller arrangement.
6. Moderation and removal
Operators may moderate their own networks under disclosed rules. Meshnect may restrict or remove content or access when reasonably needed to address violations, protect people or systems, or comply with law. We may act promptly without advance notice for urgent safety, security, or legal reasons.
Where lawful and practicable, we explain the reason and provide a way to challenge the decision through support@meshnect.com. We consider relevant information and correct mistakes. We do not promise to inspect every post or resolve every dispute between members. Moderation access must remain consistent with the Privacy Policy and lawful permissions.
7. Leaving, suspension, and termination
You may leave a network or request account closure through support@meshnect.com. Leaving one network does not close your Meshnect account. Before requesting closure, identify any content you need to retrieve; available export and retrieval arrangements depend on the service and applicable rights.
We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, legal requirements, or serious security risks. We use proportionate restrictions where practicable and provide notice and review as described above. Closure does not remove lawful retention duties or copies others independently hold. Privacy and deletion requests remain available after suspension.
8. Availability and third parties
We aim to provide a useful service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, particular professional outcomes, or the accuracy of member content. Subject to mandatory law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available."
Networks, members, and third-party sign-in providers are responsible for their own conduct and services. These Terms do not exclude Meshnect's responsibility where applicable law imposes it. Maintenance or changes may affect features; we give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, arising from these Terms. Meshnect's aggregate liability arising from the service or these Terms is capped at the greater of the fees you paid Meshnect for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and INR 5,000. The floor applies even if you use Meshnect free of charge.
These exclusions and the cap do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. They do not limit regulatory powers or nonwaivable privacy or consumer rights. Counsel must confirm the cap, exclusions, and any additional privacy or confidentiality carve-outs before publication.
10. Law and disputes
Indian law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory rights that apply where you live. Subject to those rights and any legally required forum, courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have jurisdiction. This clause does not prevent complaints to competent regulators or use of mandatory consumer remedies.
Please contact us first to help resolve a concern, without giving up any right or legal deadline.
11. Changes and general terms
We provide notice of material changes and their effective date. Where required, we ask for renewed acceptance. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the service and request closure. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. Additional operator or commercial agreements may apply to their stated subject matter but cannot waive mandatory rights.
